Adam,Rouilly is delighted to be attending this year’s BMFMS Annual Conference in Edinburgh. In addition to exhibiting we are also excited to offer several simulators in the Sponsored Supervised Training Sessions. The sessions allow attendees to try out our products but most importantly the opportunity to train and discuss key scenarios in hands-on simulation sessions. This year we will have our Desperate Debra®  Impacted Fetal Head Simulator, Amnio Abby® - Ultrasound Guided Invasive Procedures Simulator (amniocentesis, CVS) and our erineal/Episiotomy Suturing Training Models available for use at these sessions. We look forward to seeing you both at our stand at the training sessions and discussing any training requirements you have.
Gentle and predictable preinduction of labor with Dilapan-S
We will be demonstrating how to insert Dilapan-S for a gentle and predictable preinduction of labor.
The rigid hygroscopic rod absorbs fluids in the uterine cervical canal, gradually increasing its volume and dilating the cervix. After 4 to 6 hours, the 3 mm rod will have expanded to 8.3–10 mm and the 4 mm rod up to 10–12.5 mm. Simultaneously, Dilapan-S initiates endogenous prostaglandin release causing collagen degradation and ripening of the cervix. The patented hydrogel AQUACRYL guarantees consistency and predictability of action. It contains no pharmaceutically active substances.
Since its inception in 1993, Clinical Innovations has been the largest healthcare manufacturer exclusively focused on labour and delivery.  Already a market leader with The Koala® Intrauterine Pressure Catheter and Kiwi® Vacuum-Assisted Delivery System, CI is consistently investing in new product ideas where innovation makes a difference.  In recent years, CI has introduced the traxi® Panniculus Retractor, ROM Plus® Fetal Membranes Rupture Test, ebb® Complete Tamponade System, and ClearView Total® Uterine Manipulation System.  CI recently entered the neonatal clinical area with the babyLance™ safety heelstick, adding to a portfolio of innovative products developed “forMOM. forBABY. forLIFE. ™”. Attend the simulation workshop to practice your skills at vacuum assisted delivery on a purpose designed pelvic model and learn more about improving your technique from our Clinical Education Specialist.
The PROMPT Birthing Simulator, from Limbs & Things will play an integral part of the simulation sessions. Training stations available include Shoulder Dystocia management, Forceps Delivery and Uterine Compression techniques (including B-Lynch procedure).
