Tracey is a retired Consultant Obstetrician / Subspecialist in Maternal & Fetal Medicine. She has more than twenty six years’ experience in two large tertiary level obstetric units where she delivered tertiary level maternal medicine and fetal medicine.

She has a long-standing interest in the law and ethics surrounding termination of pregnancy, and has talked at various national fora on the topic. She was part of the group who authored the ‘Position statement following Chief Coroner’s Guidance no. 45, “Stillbirth and Live Birth Following Termination of Pregnancy”. Advice for clinicians following abortion care at later gestation’ (RCOG, December 2023).
